Distefano3Dprint review of 1/700 warship items

All 6 items I received were superb. The printing was very fine.

The DKM Admiral Scheer Tower was excellent but I wished that the range finder was separate so that the model builder had the choice of how they wanted it pointed. As printed, a model would look weird if the turrets were pointed anywhere but to the port side.

The DKM Narvik Z37 Main Mast was finely printed.

The DKM 10.5 cm/45 (4.1") SK C/32 Gun Set has great detail. I only wish it did not cost $5 a gun. But I did pay that and was not disappointed.

The funnels for the Lutzow and Scheer were also very nice. Perhaps they could be improved by adding printed railings even if the railing would be sightly over scale. That would be nice for those of us that can no longer handle PE. This could be a purchase option.

The DKM Hipper Seaplane Crane Set was printed fine enough that I do not need a PE crane.

Wish there were more 1/700 parts (rather than whole ships) available.

All these items are expensive but worth it --- at least for me.

Hood Foremast

Part looks great on the model. Need to trim the legs to get the proper fit. Any modeler who know how to build should have little issues with this.

BB Tower

An excellent product. Well worth the cost. A good enhancement to the basic plastic kit.

Mk38 USN gun director 1/200

Excellent item, highly detailed and a wonderful addition to any 200 scale USN WW2 build. It's a perfect replacement for the gun director/ photo etch ( which is problematic at best) supplied with my USS Iowa. Really happy that I found this item as its saved me countless hours of fiddling unsuccessfully with the photo etch supplied and vastly improves the look of the model.

3D printed USN 3"50

This item will greatly improve the finished model. They will be used on an old Revell Buckley Class DE 1/250 scale.
