they claim 5 to 8 days for delivery… more like 18 to 21 days. Despite cotton ball packaging 3 of the 8 cannons had snapped off barrels and 2 had whole gun assembly snapped from mount.
Took a while to get here, but they look great. Somewhat interesting packaging though.. I don't believe 3D printed items with fine detail should be packed in cotton. Safe, but a little tricky to unpack and de-fuzz.
Very nice resin print. I ordered it for a 1:100 scale old Revelle PT 212 model kit that I am converting to RC. Highly detailed but very fragile. I imagine larger scale wouldn’t be so delicate. If you’re after realism, this is the place.
Is exactly as per title, detail is nice and crisp, any issues and designer always on the end of an email if anything crops up.
Thank you

I am building a 1:500 scale model of the USS North Carolina BB55 which for some reason didn't come with the Kingfishers or catapults. It came with a helicopter (which it did have after WWII) but I wanted it to be in WWII configuration. I found Distefan and the 1:500 Kingfisher and catapults. I have not received the cats yet.
The Kingfishers are tiny BUT the detail is great. I still haven't painted them but they are going to look great on my model. One thing to note is Distefan ships them with the 3D printing excess (not sure what it is called in the 3D printing world) so you have to carefully cut it off. I think this is a good way to ship because it stabilizes the actual model keeping it from breaking. Just be very careful cutting it off as the plastic used seemed a little brittle compared to the normal plastic model material. Distefan also says to use super glue not plastic modeling glue like Testors to attach. I'm not there yet though but will heed their instructions.
If your in the need for a 1:500 scale of a Kingfisher or a USN catapult Distefan is the place for you.
