1/128 HMS UP AA Rocket Set (5pcs): Historic Anti-Aircraft Detail
Equip your Royal Navy fleet with Distefan's meticulously detailed 1/128 HMS UP AA Rocket Set (5pcs). These replicas represent the Unrotated Projectile (UP) Mark I, a unique close-range anti-aircraft weapon designed to meet the urgent defense needs of large British warships early in World War II. Whether outfitting a famous battlecruiser or a King George V-class battleship, this set brings an unparalleled level of realism and sophistication to your miniature fleet.
Unparalleled Detail Meets Customization Freedom
Museum-Quality Realism: The UP Mark I is a masterfully researched replica of the 20-barrel rocket launcher intended to supplement the 2-pdr "Pom-Pom" AA guns. These units are essential for accurately representing the early-war anti-aircraft and surface-defense capabilities of the Royal Navy's most legendary ships.
Historical Versatility: This unique armament was a distinctive feature on several iconic classes during the early 1940s, including:
- Capital Ships: HMS Hood, HMS King George V, HMS Prince of Wales, HMS Nelson, and HMS Barham.
- Cruisers: HMS Aurora, HMS Birmingham, HMS Glasgow, HMS Newcastle, HMS Norfolk, and HMS Sussex.
Premium Materials: Crafted in High Detail Resin Grey, these mounts offer exceptional detail, a remarkably smooth finish, and outstanding durability. This material is the professional choice for both intricate painting and long-term display, ensuring your model remains a centerpiece of your collection.
