A quality 3D printed resin reproduction in 1:48 scale of the Binocular assembly used on submarine boats of that era. Nicely done. Bravo!
Overall, the only problem is the rear lid.

The Monomoy 26' Life Boat was a staple of the U.S. Lifesaving Service Stations and later the US Coast Guard all along the Atlantic, Pacific, and Great Lakes Coasts. These rugged boats and their valiant crews saved THOUSANDS of lives.
A number of the surviving boats have been restored and can be seen in museums. New ones are still being built, and even raced by rowing teams.
The model is an excellent reproduction of these tough little boats, from the clinker construction to the narrow thwarts the surfmen sat on as they launched straight into breaking waves, heeding the USLSS's (and later the USCG's) unofficial motto: "You have to go out, you don't have to come back."
