I always wanted to build one of these trolleys in 1/72 to display an aircraft on the deck of an INJ warship or seaplane tender. It would be an eyecatcher in any contest or display, but I knew the fine structure, lightening holes and detail was beyond my scratch building capabilities. When I saw these in in 1/72 I had to have one (or two) to start my project. The detail is fine and exact. This is they type of item only 3D printing can duplicate and it is fantastic. Now I have to get to work on it before other modelers discover this gem and beat me to it. There are several other items available that lend themselves to dioramas in both 1/72 and 1/48. These items open up a great many possibilities for plastic modelers with imagination. Very happy with this purchase and will make several more in the future. Thank you
Years ago I wanted to display a Japanese seaplane on the trolly in 1/72. The FAOW series showed these trollies in detail and I knew scratch building these in 1/72 would be difficult. A detailed diorama on a Japanese ship would be an eye catcher at any IPME contest, as it is unique. Combining Hasegawa or Fujimi aircraft kits with a catapult and figures would be unique. Finally I have the trollies which are accurately detailed. Thank you for offering these detailed kits. I have sent my modeling friends the link to your website. Thank you for providing a detailed kit and other accessories for displaying aircraft in dioramas.
The printing is very well done, and the mounting of the gun barrel is clever. The actual mounts have grab irons and handrails. Dimples in the finish to locate these would make it easy for super detailing.
