This 1/96 USN AN/SPG 55B tracking/illumination radar model accurately and precisely replicates one of the most powerful radar and Surface-to-air missile guidance systems used on U.S. Navy ships, including Kitty Hawk-class aircraft carriers, Belknap-class cruisers, Leahy-class cruisers, and Farragut-class destroyers. The AN/SPG-55, part of the Mk 76 missile fire control system, was designed to track and illuminate targets with extreme accuracy.
